Laminated safety glass is a tough glass variant. Two or more sheets of glass are bonded together with a tough PVB bond between each layer.

This improves the strength, durability and adhesion of the glass making it shatter resistant to pointed objects and drops, this property also prevents bodily damage from sharp glass fragments that may occur when normal glass shatters.

It can be used to help sustain heavy opposing loads such as those exerted by fish tanks or windows on higher floors of skyscrapers to essential security features of a house or buildings making it more difficult for perpetrators to gain entry through.

Shatter Resistant

Shattered layers adhere to the super strong PVD coating in the middle preventing injury from glass shards

Improved Security

In multi ply configurations, Safety Glass can be made bullet resistant and can even withstand impact from heavy objects and small explosions.

Sound Control

The dampening properties of the plastic inter layer makes Laminated Safety Glass an effective sound control product that can be used for acoustic glazing purposes.

Ultraviolet Screening

The inner PVD layer can help reduce the absorption of UV Rays.
